Today’s (April 16) #Honor post goes to Sgt. James Kyle Smith with the Iowa State Patrol. Sgt. Smith’s legacy of leadership, love for family and God and service to others will always be remembered.

Sgt. Smith served the state of Iowa, his faith community and led his family with the utmost integrity. When the situation arose of who shall I send, Sgt. Smith was the one who said “Send me”.

Sgt. Smith was a leader in his community and was grounded in his faith in Jesus Christ. Let us continue to honor Sgt. Smith daily with our walk in our profession and our faith in God.

Sgt. Smith was the “real deal” and we are certain that when Sgt. James Kyle Smith met God at Heavens door God said “Well done my good and faithful servant”.
