The bill to redefine dispatchers from clerical to FIRST RESPONDER has passed both the Senate and the House unanimously. The bill now goes to Governor Kim Reynolds to be signed into law.

We are grateful for our members and the entire Iowa 9-1-1 community for their diligence in contacting their legislators to ask for support of this bill. Your phone calls and emails were very instrumental in making this happen. You all ROCK!
